Open KunstAtelierRoute

During the Open KunstAtelierRoute (OKAR), you’ll have the chance to discover the work of local professional and amateur artists from Kalmthout at various locations throughout the town. Both Kalmthout art associations and individual practitioners gladly open their personal studios or shared workspaces to visitors.

For the occasion, a brochure is being prepared, featuring details about the participating artists and a map of Kalmthout marking all the visitable locations. The brochure will be available soon and can be downloaded here. 

This unique project began in 1996 and is organized every three years.

The OKAR will take place on 
Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, 2025.

There is an Overview exhibition Featuring all the artists taking part in the Route. One work from each participant will be seen on this location:
